The newest member of the family will arrive later today. Our Mac Book Pro is currently in the hands of the FedEx man or woman and will be arriving shortly. Although a little nervous of switch to the Mac world, we anxiously await the arrival.
Tips on how to handle the newest Mitchell are appreciated.

It's really hard to find independent software for Macs. Use www.versiontracker for small programs that make it easier to use. Also, go to the store and buy the student version of Office - it's $99 bucks as opposed to several hundred, and it's exactly the same thing.
